Wanaka to Te Anau

On Monday we were off to Te Anau with stops in Arrowtown and Queenstown.  Such a dry mountainous landscape around Queenstown.  Getting through these mountains is crazy with lots of 15km/hr switchbacks.  I was glad it was a clear day and not winter!

School time!

We had fun going through the museum there.

Should be some interesting phone calls!

We wandered through the Queenstown botanical gardens and stopped for lunch.

Such cool trees - made for climbing.  Gigantic Sequoia - native to California.

I just have to laugh out loud when ever I see this picture.  We were checking out the band stand and Sebastian decided he would like a picture and posed.  Where does this come from?  Hahaha - love it!

And again...
