Wakefield to Westport

On Tuesday morning we headed off for the West coast.  Some little pit stops hindered by the nasty sand fly :p

New Zealand's longest swing bridge at Buller Gorge.

We arrived at our lodgings mid afternoon, settled in and then headed to Cape Foulwind to see the views, lighthouse and seals.

A Weka - first time we'd seen this bird!

Seals on the rocks...

So immense and powerful.  Every time we stand by the ocean with the waves crashing I have such a feeling of awe and humbleness for our Creator.
