This drive was pretty uneventful but when we reached Whangarei we went to the Quarry Gardens. It's a huge old quarry that over the past 20 years has been transformed into beautiful gardens mostly by volunteers.
Still so much colour even though it's winter. All the seasons are so mixed up here!
The day ended with our daily grocery trip and then finding a laundromat to do all the laundry. Looking forward to stocking up on groceries again and doing them without kids!
