A visit to the zoo by Tessa

On Saturday we went to the Auckland Zoo.  We saw lots of cool animals.

Check out this ostrich egg!

My favorite animals were the meerkats.  They were so cute!  The would stand up like little gentlemen and looked so curious.

I took this video of them.

 These turtles are 1-2 years old and so tiny!  They can live to 150 years old!

I loved the little penguins too.  These live in New Zealand.  I hope we get to see them in the wild sometime!

I really liked the lemurs too but I still like the meerkats best!
